seems like the general consensus is that dealing with with the Xtion usb signal can only be done properly with more powerful CPUs. http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=4530

Limor it would seem to me that you are jumping to a conclusion before anyone has had time to see if the Raspberry Pi will work with the Xtion.
