I just assumed that the best way to connect two ABS parts together would be screws and nuts. Just like their metal counter parts. I am starting to rethink this. If I can not print the parts as one piece then the next best thing is weld then together!

ReplyDeleteGlueing two parts together may also help with the strength if the printed layers in the parts go in different directions
Yes, very true. I just realized that plastic parts can be connected in other ways other than screws and nuts, plus the connection is stronger!
