Objectives: DARwIn-OP is an open platform humanoid project supported by NSF. Being a vision-capable humanoid with full functionality and scalability, researchers are strongly required to join an open source community for cooperative research. (www.robotsrource.org) To encourage creative applications from around the globe and maximize contribution for humanoid research.
Registration: Teams may consist of 1-4 members. Team must use the DARwIn-OP robot to develop an application. To register, a 2 minute online video demonstration should be posted on YouTube, and this link must be submitted with the registration form. This link will also be used for the online vote which we hold prior to the conference.
Preparations for selected finalist to present at ICRA 2014. 15 minutes free-style demonstration and presentation (Must explain the robot’s application and its functions) (Projector, tables, MIC will be available on-site) All other necessary equipment for demo must be prepared by each participation team.
