Is This Robot The Replacement for the ROBOTIS-OP or another ROBOTIS robots? It is called the Mikata-1.

The Robot was created by one of the leading human roboticist in the world Yoshihiro Shibata. It is a prototype robot with more development work needed.

The robot uses the new Robotis Dynamixel XM-430 servos in the legs and hips. So this is the first humanoid robot to use the new servos.

So far I have no official information to share about this robot but I will update this post when I hear more.
