AX-12+ mockups made on the UP! 3-d printer!
My friend Luis is trying to make a 3-D printed version of my robot Boomer. His brother is creating the STL files in Inventor. Luis then uploads then to the UP! printer. So now I can create a 3-D model of my new humanoid robot designs, too cool!
The UP! printer can print at higher resolution then the Makerbot Cupcake CNC and it uses support material better! It will be interesting to see how it compares to the Thing-O-Matic? I also must add that we are having troubles with the UP! printer. It keeps breaking down!
