Making Bioloid brackets with a 3-D Printer.

  1. Hello I, Bioloid, truly spectacular! has the precision, is a 3D printer. I wanted to ask the material used has a greater or lesser resistance to the original bracket? the difference from original bracket is high or low?

  2. The bracket you see was printed on the lowest quality setting for the printer! A medium or high quality setting print should be almost the same as the original! I will post more when I can print these brackets with the printer. We are working on printing out the PLM leg brackets that Che design too!

    I have been trying similar thing, hence I just would like to share my case with the photo below.(Google Picasa)

    Polyamide must be stronger than ABS, Alumide is more.
    Even though you do not have own 3D-printer, you can 3D-print these kinds of brackets through i.materialise.com for example.

  7. Thanks your kind comment. I would like to put one remark. I am trying to customize the brackets with 3D-printing for regular use same as ready-made brackets, not for prototyping. If I will be able to prove the feasibility of 3D-printing parts, let you know vis photos or Youtube later on.
